現在の研究内容

農業生態系を構成する昆虫類の化学物質によるコミュニケーションの解明を目標として,昆虫の配偶者行動に関与する性フェロモンや, 産卵・摂食等の繁殖活動に関わる植物成分の分析を中心とした研究を行っています. また, これらの天然化合物を利用した農業害虫管理技術の開発や, その作用メカニズムの研究なども行っています. これらの研究を通して, 殺虫剤だけに依存しない, 環境にやさしく安全性の高い害虫管理技術の確立を目指しています.
