JSPCMB Student Award 2017

Masashi Mikami, a graduate student of Yokohama City University Collaborative Graduate School under the supervision of Dr. Seiichi Toki (Plant Genome Engineering Research Unit Leader, Division of Applied Genetics Institute of Agrobiological Sciences, NARO) received the JSPCMB Student Award 2017 from the Japanese Society for Plant Cell and Molecular Biology (JSPCMB). He was awarded for the research on establishment of CRISPR/Cas9-based technique for plant genome editing. The awarding ceremony held on August 30, 2017 at Omiya Sonic City in Saitama Prefecture in conjunction with the 35th JSPCMB Annual Meeting. The JSPCMB Student Award is given to promising students pursuing excellent research in plant cell and molecular biology.
