NFRI Researchers at the 15th ASEAN Food Conference

Dr. Mari Maeda-Yamamoto, Director of the Division of Food Function Research, Food Research Institute, NARO (NFRI) and Dr. Masayasu Nagata, Postharvest Science and Technology Unit Leader, NFRI attended the 15th ASEAN Food Conference organized by the Vietnam Institute of Agricultural Engineering & Postharvest Technology (VIAEP) and the Vietnam Association of Food Science and Technology (VAFoST) at the Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on November 14-17, 2017. Dr. Maeda-Yamamoto gave a presentation entitled "Development of functional agricultural products utilizing the new health claim labeling system in Japan" whereas Dr. Nagata taled on "Elucidation of mechanism involved in the postharvest international blue discoloration of Japanese Radish (Raphanus sativus) root".
