In the Kyushu Okinawa region, there are many pests such as Spodoptera litre, a soybean pest which comes from abroad and brings significant damage to crops. For this reason, we are conducting research for flying prediction method of these overseas flying pests and high precision of the occurrence prediction technology. In addition, the elucidation of the growth characteristics of the planthoppers and control technology based on the occurrence ecology elucidation of viral diseases that planthoppers mediated, test method of drug resistance of planthoppers and we are promoting the research for the development of effective drug resistance management technology.
