09. Molecular cloning of porcine interleukin-2 receptor alpha gene

Japanese

cDNA and genomic DNA encoding porcine interleukin-2 receptor alpha (IL-2Ra) gene were cloned, and the nucleotide sequences were analyzed. The reactivity of the protein encoded by the cDNA sequence with porcine IL-2Ra specific antibody, 231-3B2, was confirmed by using COS expression system. It was demonstrated that porcine IL-2Ra gene was composed of eight exons in the genomic sequence and assigned to the long arm of chromosome 10.
