17. Estimation of Economic Loss with an Outbreak of Hog Cholera

Japanese

On the assumption that hog cholera occurs in the field, the economic loss in a farrow-to-finish operating swine farm has been estimated. The gross loss in the farm can be evaluated with a primary regression model on the number of sows or the sales per month. This model might also be applied to foot-and-mouth disease on other farms.
