 Collected in Tochigi Pref., Kanto Distr., the central part of Japan. Causes rough leaf spot of sorghum and is thought to be isolated from other Sorghum plants. Produces pycnidia on the leaves and disperses by scattering pycnidiospores inside. Teleomorph unknown.

 Anamorph: Pycnidia lighr brown to brown, spherical to subspherical, producing many pycnidiodpores inside. Pycnidiospores hyaline, broad ellipsoid to oblong, round at the ends, 16-21 x 6-8 um, with (0-)1 septum.
