 Distributed mainly in Kanto to Chubu, the central part of Japan. Causes anthracnose of sorghum and parasitizing only the Sorghum plants. Produces acervuli on the leaves and disperses by scattering conidia inside. Teleomorph unknown.

Morphology:
 Teleomorph: Unknown
 Anamorph: Acervuli with many setae, producing conidia inside. Conidia hyaline to pale yellow, falcate to fusiform, single cell, gradually tapered to the ends, 18.5-27.5 x 3-4.5 um. Appressoria brown, edge rather irregular, 6-25 x 4-16 um.
