NIAS Library Services for Visitors

National Institute of Agrobiological Sciences (NIAS) has two libraries ; one is "Kannondai" and the other is "Ohwashi".

1.   Hours

   Hours : 9:00 - 17:00 from Monday through Friday
   Closing days : Saturday, Sunday, National Holidays, Year-End, New-Year

2.   Entry procedure

   Fill out the form, your name and the affiliation at the reference counter.

3.   Services

   The services for visitors are reading, studying, use of most library materials within the room, and photocopying ( charges will apply -- see below.)

4.   How to search

   Use the ALIS WebOPAC to search for materials in NIAS Libraries' collections.

5.   Photocopying

   Photocopy Services Price List :

   • 20yen per sheet for self service
   • 60yen per sheet plus postage cost for delivery service
     ( Please note : Payment must be received before any materials can be sent. )
