Sheath blight Large, gray to reddish brown discolored lesions appear on the surface of just upperground part of stalk. Brown and smooth sclerotia are produced.

Sorghum downy mildew Long, white stripe along leaf vein. Lower leaves gradually show chlorosis and the whole plant shrinks severely and is killed finally.
