Distributed mainly north from Kyushu, the southern part of
Japan. Causes zonate spot in barley. It should be tranferred to the genus Drechslera
based on the morphology, but not yet. Disperses by scattering conidia. Teleomorph not yet found.

Morphology: Teleomorph: not yet found Anamorph: On pale brown conidiophores, producing conidia almost straight, pale brown to yellowish brown, clavate to oblong, 39.2-93.4 x 9.5-18.4 um, with 2-6 pseudosepta. Germinating from the tip and often producing secondary conidiophores and conidia. |
