Reaching out: The Great East Japan Earthquake

NIAS would like to extend its sincere sympathy to all the victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11, 2011 including the families, friends, colleagues of NIAS staff who were affected by this tragedy.

We would also like to thank colleagues from overseas who have sent messages of sympathy and encouragement to researchers of NIAS.
