Lesions (pustules) protrude and rupture to expose spores.

Common rust Oval, orange lesions of 2-5mm in length occur on the both side of leaves.

Southern rust Circular to oval, yellow lesions of 1-3mm in length occur on the lower side of leaves.

Lesions do not protrude and enlarge to some extent.
