Whole plant bodies are killed or rot after rainy season.
Summer blight
Part or whole plant bodies are killed by hyphal strands like a spider-web from early summer to autumn. Sclerotia of brown, irregular-shaped and 2-5mm in diameter are produced on the collapsed plant.
Southern blight
Plant bodies are killed by hyphal strands like a silk from summer to autumn. Sclerotia of light brown, spherical and 0.3-0.5mm in diameter on the collapsed plant.
Foot rot
A part of the plant bodies are killed from winter to spring. The stem of just upperground is covered by white hyphae producing sclerotia of about 1mm in size.
