| Dispersal areas of TYLCV are Kyushu, Tokai and Kanto in Japan. Infected
area of the disease is spreading now. |

| After invasion of TYLCV, tomato production has become extremely
unstable in the infected areas. The vector of the disease is silverleaf
whitefly. It needs chemical and physical control measures for avoiding
infection. Thus, the cost of the control is increasing. |
