NIAS DNA Bank

• The NIAS DNA Bank is in-charge of maintenance and distribution of DNA materials and information derived from various genome research projects of the institute. DNA clones from rice, pig and silkworm are currently available.

Rice Genome Resource Center

• The Rice Genome Resource Center (RGRC) is in-charge of maintenance and distribution of biological materials for functional genomics such as Tos17 insertion mutant lines and populations for genetic analysis.

Institute of Radiation Breeding

• The Institute of Radiation Breeding (IRB) is providing services for the development of new crop strains through mutation induction. The IRB is also engaged in joint research programs at the request of universities, private industries and local government research centers.
